children's ministries
Jesus loves the little children, all the little children of the world,
red and yellow, black and white,
they are precious in his sight,
Jesus loves the little children of the world!
At Knowlton, we believe that when we serve children, we are not only loving them, we are also loving Jesus (Matt.10:42). Loving Jesus and his children means helping children know him as their Savior-King and devote themselves to him by grace as lifelong disciples. Knowlton's understanding of following Jesus emphasizes the everyday work of God's Spirit through the Bible, the everyday friendship of God's people, and the everyday call to live and love for Jesus in the world he has made. So we build-in layers of opportunities to take in the bible in the context of loving friendships to serve the world. Our plan focuses on coming alongside families in their roles as the primary spiritual leaders of their households. Young Families Group is our quarterly large group (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter) gathering of all families with elementary and younger children. Kid's Club is our monthly medium size gathering of the children themselves for fun and challenging activities (which recently have included picnics, zip lines, and snow tubing) and time to eat, sing and learn together about our great God. First Hour Classes and our unique Children's Church programs are the weekly small communities on Sunday mornings where all our children learn the gospel by age group through loving, nurturing teachers in our clean, bright, safe facility. In our nursery we provide child care for well children 5 and under during all services, 3 and under for all classes. Parents or caregivers are asked for basic information that will help us care for their children may check children at the door of their nursery room. Please feel free to contact us for more information.
