Who We Are

The family is the primary culture God designed.  It is the place where people are grown, meant to mature year by year as image bearers and children of God, discovering their gifts and using them in the service of Jesus their Savior and King.  We think families should spend time together learning what this means, praying for one another, having fun, bearing each other's burdens; you know, that friendship thing.

 

Our creatively named young families group is a company of 20-40 somethings with young kids who have discovered that Jesus is faithful to us despite the huge learning curve of marriage and parenting and that he has put us together because we really do get by with a little help from our friends, and a lot of daily grace from God.  We'd like you to join us, because you can never really have too much of either.

 

At least once a season (Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer--those seasons) we get together for large group, a morning or afternoon of great fun.   In between, we meet in more intimate twice a month fellowship groups for opening the scriptures, mutual support, friendship, prayer, and outreach. Our children, besides taking advantage of age appropriate opportunities on Sundays in first hour classes or nursery depending on age, also are able to participate in our children's church and Kid's Club programs.   If you've wondered whether there is a place for you--and your children--to be welcomed, grown, challenged and encouraged in the world of 21st century family life, that's why we're here.  Come join us!
