Worship is serving God the infinite Creator, who made billions of galaxies through the power of his word.  It means coming to God in adoring wonder and awe, reverential fear and overwhelming joy. To worship is to "ascribe to the Lord the glory due his Name!"  (Ps.29:2).  Worship is also exalting God as Savior from sin and judgment in Jesus Christ his Son through the power of the Holy Spirit, and so it centers on what the bible calls the gospel.  In a concentrated way, we give to the one true God in worship the honor and praise and obedience that are his. 

 

Worship is for all of us!  For younger children Children's Church is a vital element in helping families grow maturing worshippers of God.  Children K-4th grade are dismissed halfway through service for a time of conversational teaching on the Bible's key truths, praising God by singing songs rich in content and beautiful in expression, and ending with a storytime that (depending on the year in the cycle) works through a child's version of Pilgrim's Progress, or gives the Bible's big picture of salvation in Jesus, or explores the fascinating lives of boys and girls who have followed Jesus and impacted the world through him. 

 

Infants and toddlers may remain with their parents during worship, or be signed in and picked up from our clean, safe nursery by a parent or caregiver.  We invite you join us for worship at 10:30 am on Sundays to be reminded of why living for the living God is vitally important and deeply meaningful.
