Becoming a member of a church means moving from attendance and even participation to ownership--being openly "a part of it"  as the Apostle Paul says.  Church membership is a way of publicly owning Jesus as his disciple, and belonging to a particular group of his people as the visible expression of his body.  The local church is how Jesus manifests himself on earth.  For anyone who is serious about linking their destiny to Jesus', church membership is the next step in commitment.  Much like getting married or becoming a citizen, we move into a relationship of greater blessing, the privilege of serving, and the opportunity to give and receive love on a whole new level.

Membership classes at Knowlton are typically held on a Saturday morning, and are an informal but thought-out time of investigation and conversation about our mission, our vision, and our core beliefs.  The next class will be Saturday, March 17th, 9:00am-1:00pm, lunch provided.
