Due to a power outage, the last paragraph of the lecture and the discussion following was not recorded. Here is a transcript of the closing paragraph of the lecture:
"Again, this is just an introduction to a longer thesis on marriage and relationships – that the marriage of Christ and his church is not a metaphor. That while yes, it is spiritual, that actually makes it worth considering as more important than what we can observe on earth. That the marriage of Christ and his church is very real and that the whole counsel of God reveals to us how we should order our societies, whether in family or commonwealth, with the revealed beauty and mission of the church, by faith, bringing them both toward perfection."
